CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin
Two growth hormone secretagogues that act on different receptors to amplify your own growth hormone pulse.
The basics
Your pituitary releases growth hormone in response to two signals, GHRH from the hypothalamus and ghrelin from the gut. CJC-1295 is a longer-acting analog of GHRH, and ipamorelin is a selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor that, in early studies, released growth hormone without raising cortisol or prolactin. Together they press both accelerators at once while leaving the body's feedback control in place.
We review the studies, the potential uses and benefits, and the open questions in our research post, CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin, Two Accelerators in One Vial.
What the evidence looks like
Early. In human studies CJC-1295 raised growth hormone and IGF-1 for days after a dose, and ipamorelin has human pharmacology data. No published trial has tested the combination, and none shows improved long-term outcomes in healthy adults.
Why patients ask about it
- The age-related decline in growth hormone
- Sleep, recovery, and body composition
- An alternative to sermorelin
Good to know
- This compounded blend is not FDA-approved.
- We monitor IGF-1 and blood sugar. Side effects include water retention, tingling, flushing, and headache.
- Not for anyone with active cancer. Prohibited in competitive sport.
